Hi all! I am so excited to be on this journey with you.
I believe everyone can benefit from therapy however, the key to success is dependent on the therapeutic relationship. Here is a bit about me to see if I may be a good fit for you. I am a woman, wife, and mother. I am a family oriented individual and passionate about helping others in my professional life. I am continuously learning and growing as an individual and have found many ways to cope with my life transitions and challenges. It has been important for me to adapt my coping strategies and to use self reflection to ensure I am taking care of my holistic health and wellbeing. I have worked in Mental Health and Community Health for over 10 years.
I love working with people from various cultural, ethical, and diverse backgrounds. I have worked with individuals who have a diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, Generalized Anxiety Disorder, Depression, Borderline Personality Disorder, and Bi-Polar Disorder, as well as, assisting their caregivers. You do not need a diagnosis to work with me and sometimes the disorder is not as relevant to what is happening now in your life. I do not believe you are defined by your disorder - you are YOU!
I am an eclectic therapist which means I use an array of interventions to meet your goals. Interventions and modalities I use are: Adlerian, Attachment-Based, CBT, CPT, DBT, Mindfulness, MI, ACT, Trauma-Focused, and Client Centered. I am a lifelong learner therefore, these approaches may change over time with the research that is available.

Taking the first step toward therapy can feel overwhelming, and I’m glad you’re here. Whether you’re feeling anxious, navigating a life transition, experiencing relationship challenges, or simply feeling stuck, you don’t have to face these experiences alone. My goal is to create a warm, supportive, and non-judgmental space where you feel safe to be yourself and explore what’s on your mind. I believe that every person brings unique strengths, experiences, and resilience into the therapy room. Being human means experiencing a wide range of emotions, challenges, and moments of uncertainty, and I believe there is value in creating space to explore these experiences with compassion and curiosity. My approach is collaborative, client-centred, and trauma-informed, drawing from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) skills, Solution-Focused Therapy, psychodynamic approaches, mindfulness, and strengths-based practices to support your individual goals. I support adults navigating anxiety, depression, stress, life transitions, self-esteem concerns, emotional regulation difficulties, and relationship challenges. I welcome individuals from all cultural backgrounds, identities, and life experiences, and I strive to provide care that is inclusive, culturally responsive, and affirming. My background in public health, along with several years of non-profit work in the responsible gambling and problem gambling sectors, has shaped my commitment to community-based and equity-informed care. I also have experience supporting newcomers to Canada as they navigate acculturation, resettlement, and significant life changes. At the heart of my work is the belief that a strong therapeutic relationship is the foundation for meaningful growth. I am honoured to walk alongside clients as they gain deeper self-understanding, reconnect with their strengths, and develop tools to navigate life with greater clarity, compassion, and confidence.
Taking the first step toward therapy can feel overwhelming, and I’m glad you’re here. Whether you... Read More
